„A Collection Of Great Dance Songs” was originally released on November 23, 1981 and contains various Pink Floyd classics as well as alternative mixes and versions, for example of „Another Brick In The Wall (Part 2)”, „Money” and „Shine On You Crazy Diamond”.

The songs of the reissue were mastered from the original analog tapes, just like the studio albums. All reissues of the series are released on 180 g heavy vinyl. The cover is always the reproduced original artwork.
