Once again, Schiller, the master of electronic global pop, created an opulent cosmos of sound in his new songs, which was revealed in its entirety in October 2012 as Schiller’s 7th studio album entitled “Sonne“.

The album is a mixture of instrumental music and electronic sounds, partly underlaid with mostly German or English lyrics. National and international stars lent their personal voice to Schiller’s “Sonne” as guest artists. The Count of Unheilig sings the powerful title track “Sonne”, the American vocalist Adam Young from Owl City sings the poppy “Alive”. Norwegian singer-songwriter Kate Havnevik, who already wowed fans on the last Schiller album and the live tour, also unfolds her own solar sphere on “Sonne“.

The album captivates with a clarity that captures the light in such a wonderful way. On Schiller’s journey through the sun, special sound horizons can once again be discovered. Surprising guest artists, moving compositions. “Every album is like a new journey. I like to be surprised – by the grace of this world and by the people I meet along the way,” says musician and composer Christopher von Deylen, who hides behind the artist pseudonym Schiller.

Almost 12 years later, this great album is finally being released as a vinyl reissue limited to 1000 copies in color 2LP format, which will not only delight music fans, but also record lovers who want more than a purely digital version. The album comes on two transparent red vinyl discs, thus rounding off the overall work of art in an impressive way!
