“Alles ist gut,” originally released on Virgin Records in early 1981, was the third album by Deutsch-Amerikanische Freundschaft aka DAF and the first on which they acted as a duo. The recordings took place from December 1980 to January 1981 in Conny Plank’s legendary studio near Cologne, who also produced the album. Robert Görl played all the instruments, while Gabi Delgado wrote and sang the vocals. The idea for the cover artwork came from Gabi Delgado, and renowned photographer Sheila Rock was responsible for the photos.

“Alles Ist Gut” was DAF’s most successful album, staying in the German charts for over 40 weeks and being named one of the 10 best albums of the year by the NME.

It contained the seminal club hits “Der Mussolini” and “Alle gegen Alle”, as well as other favorites with “Der Räuber und der Prinz” and “Ich und die Wirklichkeit”.
